The 6th Annual Streak to the Peak
This year’s race will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the Bare Mountain Retreat 30 minutes from Boise in the Boise Mountains. The race is limited to 120 runners and registration is required..
The Streak to the Peak can be a challenging 4.6K race for competitive runners. For everyone else, it is a leisurely and enjoyable hike to the top of Bare Mountain. Racers and hikers are both welcome. The course begins at the Bare Mountain Retreat clubhouse, makes one loop around the lower bowl area and then heads up the mountain to finish at the peak. The 1,200 foot elevation gain offers great views of the surrounding Boise Mountains.
Non-racing support guests are also welcome to cheer on the competitors and participate in all the other activities.
The early bird entry fee is $35.00 for guests and $40.00 after June 30. (The entry fee for Bare Mountain Retreat members is always $25.00). Your entry fee includes race entry fee, race sarong, Sunday continental breakfast, post-race lunch, grounds fees for Saturday and Sunday, lawn games and water volleyball. Non-racing support guests are welcome. The fee is $15 per guest and includes the grounds fees and post-race lunch.
